and Updates.

Northern Lights

We are all dealing with the current COVID-19 situation. From our home base in Florida, we hope this issue finds you doing well and staying safe and healthy as all of us live and work through this unprecedented situation. Our expectation is our 2020 season will open when the current situation improves and the US/Canadian border restrictions are lifted. I think all of us are going to need a great relief when this settles down and a great Sub-Arctic adventure certainly will help. You certainly can not get more isolated!
In the meantime, to all of you reading this, we wish you the very best and pray for the health and safety of all.

Travel Insurance
It is times like these when travel insurance is a consideration when booking a trip. Our friends at Global Rescue offer their premium plan which will cover up to 75% of a situation like Covid-19. The insurance must be purchased within one week of making the reservation. Gangler’s also offers the Global Rescue Medical Evacuation Insurance at a special price of $7 a day. You can find forms on our website at the bottom of the travel planner section. Click the button below.

North Seal Frosty
KayakTo alleviate some stress and give you some relief from today’s situation, please enjoy these photos taken just days ago at North Seal River Lodge. Our Gangler’s McGyver, Jamie Chuckry, along with ace guide Sengadore (Snoop Dog) McCallum, are caretaking the lodge. Temps got down to a frosty -26˚F last week although they will hit a balmy 26˚F today but drop to 0 on Saturday. KayakThere is a lot of snow so spring water levels will be good. Caribou have migrated into the area and Jamie reports the Northern Lights have been spectacular. Please enjoy these shots of Jamie and Seng being delivered fuel and groceries in front of the main lodge by the Turbine Otter on skis.
