I watched the full moon set this morning, giving out a eerie glowing light on the snow. The cold snap has broken with this new lunar cycle along with a clear sunny sky. Thanks to some hunters passing through towing loaded sleds, I have a perfect packed trail to walk out on the frozen lake. I took a photo of the lodge from that viewpoint and a shot of the snowmobile trail heading north from camp. Apparently there is a caribou herd around Blackfish lake and moving south so I hope it comes my way. I saw an eagle fly over during my walk and I saluted the majestic bird.
