Wildlife
At Courage, Arctic wolves and wolverines are fairly common as they roam the area around Courage, a main travel corridor for the Kaminuriak caribou herd. Keep your eyes peeled for a rare Barrenlands Grizzly.

The Courage Lake mini-lodge is designed with lots of windows for sweeping panoramic views of the spectacular surrounding tundra and Courage Lake while you dine and relax. Finished in natural spruce, you relax in comfort. Or climb to the top of our spectacular viewing platform with a 360* view of the area including Nunavut and the surrounding Northern Lights. You may even witness the caribou on their journey south. Or sit by the firepit for another evening of Northwoods tales. You never know what you will see in this remote corner of Northern Manitoba and Nunavut.

Floatplane Ride
Your journey to and from Courage Lake mini-lodge is completed by the use of one of our classic floatplanes! Floatplanes are an essential part of the Northern Manitoba experience. Fly-out further to see caribou is an extra option!
Esker Tours
The famed Robertson Esker runs prominently thru the North Seal area, then travels 120 miles North to just west of Courage in the Manitoba/Nunavut tundra. You will find the eskers to be breath-taking. These eskers have been used for centuries by the caribou and ancient hunters who followed them. You never know what you will find.
